Aurora hunting in the pure air of Pallas-Ylläs nationalpark

Aurora hunting in the pure air of Pallas-Ylläs nationalpark

Duration: 4 hours / Difficulty: Easy

The cleanest air in Europe has been recorded in the Pallas-Ylläs National park, just 40 minutes away from Levi. It is also one of the best places to spot the Northern Lights! Join us to search for the Aurora Borealis while enjoying an easy walk (approx. 3km) in some of Lapland’s most breathtaking, untouched fell nature. During our trip we will make a fire with our wilderness guide, where we will enjoy a hot drink and cook sausages over the open fire. Even if we are not lucky enough to see the Northern Lights on our trip, our guide will tell us more about the Aurora Borealis, life in Lapland and the special flora and fauna of the national park. With fresh air in our lungs, we will head back to Levi by car.
